PACE Director of Business Development

Position Summary

The Director of Business Development will develop and execute strategies for sales, marketing, and community engagement to increase enrollment, build brand awareness, and establish our program as a leader in providing high-quality care to seniors. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration with healthcare providers, community organizations, and key stakeholders to achieve program objectives and improve the lives of the seniors we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive PACE program enrollment and visibility in assigned geographic region.
  • Create impactful market campaigns that educate the community about the benefits of PACE and build strong relationships with local healthcare providers and referral sources.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor programs, and consumer behavior to refine sales and marketing efforts.
  • Develop targeted outreach plans for diverse populations to ensure equitable access to services.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement:

  • Cultivate partnerships with hospitals, physicians, long-term care facilities, and local community organizations to generate leads and referrals for the PACE program.
  • Represent the PACE program at industry conferences, community events, and stakeholder meetings as the face of our organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with state and local government agencies, healthcare networks, and senior advocacy groups to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and community needs.

Sales:

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including identifying leads, engaging prospects, conducting presentations, and closing new enrollments
  • Drive sales success through the development and implementation of sales incentives.
  • Track leads, conversions, and overall pipeline health using CRM systems and reporting tools.
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasting models and metrics for continual improvement.

Marketing Collateral & Brand Management:

  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, brochures, online content, and other communications to support lead generation and program promotion.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and adherence to compliance guidelines in all marketing materials and public communications.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance reviews to drive results.
  • Establish clear goals and performance expectations for the team ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture that drives innovation and excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in healthcare or senior services.
  • Proven experience in building and executing successful sales and marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of value-based care programs and the senior healthcare landscape.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Northern Virginia healthcare market.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software, marketing analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience with PACE programs or similar senior care services.
  • Existing relationships with hospitals, physicians, community organizations, and regulators in Northern Virginia.
  • Experience leading and managing teams to exceed sales and marketing goals.
  • Background in healthcare marketing compliance.
  • Preference for candidates who are proficient in multiple languages, particularly Korean.
